Dolphin Guest House

On my first trip to Looe, Cornwall, I stayed at the Dolphin House, run by Stephanie and her husband. They made me feel at home as soon as I arrived and clearly care about their guests. My room was roomy, spotless, and so well organized, and the bed was wonderfully soft. Breakfast was delicious and cooked fresh. I'd highly recommend the place, and I'm planning to come back soon :)

We liked it so much that we booked another visit for next year straight away. The whole guest house has a warm, friendly feel, and there's a licensed bar for a drink before heading into town. Our room was beautifully decorated and well equipped, with a lovely estuary view. The place was spotless, and the hosts, Stephanie and Andrew, were friendly and attentive, happy to help with anything. Breakfast had plenty of variety and each one was cooked perfectly. It's very close to town and has its own parking space. We had a fantastic weekend there in May 2025.

We felt so welcome throughout our stay at the dolphin guest house, and we'd happily visit again. Andrew and Stephanie were lovely, and they recommended things to do and places to eat nearby. Our clean room had good facilities and was cleaned daily, with fresh towels and tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk, and biscuits topped up. The TV, kettle, mini fridge, hair dryer, and iron all came in handy. Breakfast in the dining room each morning was delicious, with lots of choice including a full English, fresh fruit, cereal, and more. There was free parking and lovely views too. I booked four nights for my mum and her friend, and they said they were really well looked after. Everything was extremely clean, the breakfast and service were great, and the views were lovely. It's close to everything, and they couldn't have asked for more. Highly recommend, five stars.
