The Beaumont Hotel

I stayed here from the 1st to the 3rd of January for £110 for two nights for two people, so I could see family in Louth. It was my second stay, though my mother booked the first one. The room itself was comfortable and nice, with the usual hotel amenities, free parking, and a reasonable distance from town. We chose the late check-in slot, 7-8pm, and expected to arrive at 7:45. At 7:30 I got several calls with no voicemail, then a text saying the owner was leaving at 8. I confirmed we'd be there before then. When we arrived, a man was waiting outside too. The owner opened the door for him, then shut it in my face without saying she'd be with me shortly. I had no jacket because the car was nearby, and ended up waiting in the cold for ten minutes. I rang twice, texted, and called before she finally let me in. She then asked if I was going to be any trouble, which caught me off guard. We usually put up the do not disturb sign because my partner's work equipment is expensive, and we were only there two nights. At checkout, the owner apologized for shutting me out, which I appreciated, but said she thought I was with the man at the door, who was supposedly a drug dealer. If she knew that, I'm not sure why she let him in. She also said some groups staying there play loud music and cause trouble. It was snowing, so we left quickly and went home. Later, the owner messaged me through booking.com saying there were blood stains on the linen that couldn't be removed and the toilet was blocked. I was confused because I wasn't menstruating and neither of us remembered bleeding at all. The toilet wasn't clogged while we were there, and if it had been, it was fixed before we left because I used it beforehand. When I asked for details, she didn't explain more about the stains, though she confirmed it was our room. Since she hadn't mentioned any charge for the linen, I left the message without a reply. I had actually left a nice review on booking.com. Then I woke up to a message saying we were banned from staying again because of a blood stain, which seems extreme. The supposed drug dealer and the groups who party apparently can still stay, which only adds to my confusion. Please don't stay here.
