The two owners' dogs were a highlight, so friendly and welcoming, and they love a belly rub! We spent some of our few days exploring locally and the rest relaxing indoors and recharging, which was much needed as I was 33 weeks pregnant. We mostly ate out, but cooked one evening too, and the self-catering side worked well. The accommodation is lovely, in a beautiful location, and it's a peaceful, restful place to get away for a few days. The lone Google review is very negative and doesn't reflect how much we enjoyed our stay at The Palace at Kingfishers.

The location is great and the accommodation is good. The kitchen could use a few more things for anyone wanting to self-cater.

A lovely lodge in the garden at Kingfishers, tastefully decorated and well provided for. The bed was super comfortable. Enjoy your stay!

Our holiday was cancelled at the last minute, and we were lied to about the reason. Steer clear.
