The Fernery

Jo made us feel at home and was so accommodating from start to finish. Our room was spotless and cosy, with huge, really comfy beds. She'd thought of all the little touches, from shampoo, a complimentary bottle of water and a cookie to ear plugs, and even left us a hand drawn map showing where we were and what was nearby. Breakfast was the nicest, made just how we wanted it. Lush place, I'd definitely come back. Thanks Jo! Xxx

A lovely Bed n Breakfast and a fab stay all round. The sitting room is gorgeous, and our superking bedroom was really nice, with a comfy bed and excellent bathing facilities. Mary had the full english breakfast, which was excellent throughout, especially the eggs and baco. I had scrambled egg and smoked salmon, just as good.

The Fernery is a beautiful building, and getting around Lynton was easy: the cliff railway, shops and restaurants are all a few minutes away on foot. There's a nearby carpark with very reasonable parking rates. Jo was so friendly and welcoming, and after our long drive she greeted us with fresh coffee and delicious home made cakes. Our room was immaculately clean and well equipped. Breakfast offered loads of choice and catered for all needs. I especially liked the veggie breakfast and homemade bread. This is the nicest B&B I've stayed in, without a doubt. I'd wholeheartedly recommend the Fernery to anyone staying in Lynton or Lynmouth, and will definitely return.
