We had such a good time here last December that we're going back this December, and we're really looking forward to it. There were seven adults and four children in our family group. The accommodation, facilities and location were all lovely, and the owner was really helpful getting us up the drive when it was time to leave. We had deep snow while we were there, which felt magical, and the children loved it.

The house had plenty of space for our group of friends, with comfy beds, amazing views and a big kitchen. We had fun with the table tennis and the cupboard full of games and party games, especially on evenings when we didn't want to just watch TV. There are great walks nearby, and the village has a pub for a drink. I'd book ahead for the one in Brendon. The Blue Ball served great food. What a location! I'd 100% recommend staying here.

We were all very impressed by how comfortable the place was and how much it had for a holiday. We got together as a family for my 70th birthday. The online photos don't do the accommodation justice, especially with the bathrooms upgraded. There's a fantastic large lounge, a very well equipped kitchen and magnificent views.

We had a great family birthday weekend here, and the house was clean and tidy, with lovely rooms and lots of extras. The kitchen is well stocked. The old hall is a fantastic lounge with an impressive selection of games and things to do, even a water rowing machine. Pets are very welcome too, so I'd recommend it for a group stay. A few practical things: the house is clearly signed from both directions on the main road, but the hills from either village are steep if your car has a small engine. There's room for 4-5 cars, though you'll need to shuffle them around on the steep drive with limited turning space. It wasn't an issue for us. The Wi-Fi was fine until more than one device was in use, then it kept dropping. O2, Vodafone and EE had no signal at all. Thanks for a great stay!

There are some lovely walks nearby, and a local pub is just a short walk through a field full of sheep. We had a brilliant stay in a nice setting.
