Dalmeny Resort Hotel

The entertainment team on Saturday night were fantastic with our little one. We stayed up later than planned and had a few more drinks too! 🙈 Our little girl loves the kids club and all the arts and crafts activities. We keep coming back, and somehow each stay over the last five years gets better. By the end we never want to go home, which is distressing for the whole family! We end up booking another night, and the reception staff are always helpful and obliging, giving us a very reasonable rate. They're lovely, but a terrible influence, lol. The food is always lovely with great portions, though my new year's resolution to lose weight went out the window, and it's only the start of January! From arrival to leaving, everyone makes you feel welcome. You leave full, happy, rested and entertained, already wanting to book again. 🙈 A few shout outs: Alicia always makes our stays special. Keiron, what a legend! The whole entertainment team is fab, as always. Ruby is lovely, professional and attentive. And the lovely blond lady at the bar, sorry I didn't get your name! Really, all the staff are fabulous 👌 Thanks for everything xxxx

Breakfast had plenty of choice, and the staff were friendly and quick to deal with our questions politely. The children especially loved the swimming pool, though it got busy at times, as you'd expect during peak family periods. There's a family friendly feel throughout, and the hotel caters well for guests with kids. We stayed as two adults and two children and had a really enjoyable break. The location right on the promenade was handy for the beach, shops and cafés, and parking was available too. Our room was clean, tidy and spacious enough for a family, with comfortable beds and everything we needed. Some parts feel a little dated, but they were well maintained. We thought the Dalmeny Hotel was good value and ideal for a relaxed seaside break. We'd happily come again and recommend it to families visiting Lytham St Annes.

The food in the restaurant was lovely, with a good selection, and the swimming pool is a nice bonus, though it could get busy. Rooms were clean and tidy, with really comfortable beds, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel sits right on the front at St Anne's, near the attractions and town, with a decent amount of parking for such a large place. Some rooms have balconies and sea views if you're happy to pay a little extra. I'd definitely consider booking here again if I was in the area.

We arranged seven rooms for a family gathering, from our 11 month old to our 92 year old, and everything went brilliantly. The team helped us with room choices and locations before arrival, and the whole booking and arrival went smoothly. All the staff were friendly and helpful, and the facilities suited everyone in our group. Thanks to everyone at the Dalmeny for making our family time go so well. We'll certainly be back soon as our family grows.
