The hotel's old-fashioned feel comes with a bit of yesteryear charm, and it seems well maintained. We were upgraded, which made a real difference, and the staff were polite and accommodating during our one night there near the end of the season. It was quieter than it would be at peak times. We came to golf, and the location couldn't be better. Breakfast was great too. Next time, we'll come when it's busier.

The front desk service was great, and our rooms were very comfortable. Before heading out for some of the best golf of our trip, we had a hearty breakfast. The hotel is right across from Machrihanish Golf Club and next door to the Old Clubhouse Hotel, so it's ideally situated. We stayed at several places while golfing around Scotland for two weeks, and this was easily the best hotel of them all.

I was there for work and only wished I had more time to enjoy the facilities. The spacious rooms had comfortable beds, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The onsite restaurant was great too, with tasty food, cold beer and really good service.

From the hotel, we could see seals and otters playing in the bay just outside, and the location was wonderful. Our room was small, very clean, and looked onto the car park, though I'm sure some other rooms had a better vantage point. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were very helpful. It's a lovely little hotel.
