The village location made it easy to set out for Janet Foss, Gordale Scar, Malham Cove and Malham Tarn, with a pub close by too. We loved the scenery and the house, and all the staff were so welcoming that it felt like a home away from home. There’s also a free customer car park behind the house, which was very handy. We booked a three-day, two-night break for a full day’s walking at Malham without having to rush home. The larger rooms were already taken, so we chose the Comfort Double Room with ensuite. It was clean and spacious for two, and the homemade biscuits in the room were baked to perfection. Ordering breakfast the night before worked perfectly, with no decisions to make in the morning. It was very nice, and the staff were fantastic. We’ll definitely visit again and highly recommend it.

The cooked breakfast was one of the best I’ve had. The rooms were nice and had everything we needed, and the location was great. Staff were lovely and nothing felt like too much trouble. It’s very dog friendly too, and our little dog got lots of treats. We had a weekend stay and were really impressed.

Malham was such a pleasant place to walk, and I wish we’d done more exploring from the B&B. It’s right on the Pennine Way, with two pubs almost next door. The family room looks out over the countryside, and having tea by the window in the morning before a home-cooked breakfast was lovely. After a walk, we could stretch out on the lawn or sit listening to the bees in the flower border. One thing didn’t work for me as a tall person: the shower was impossible, and I gave up trying to wash my hair. I don’t understand the little glass shower partitions, they’re woefully inadequate and water gets everywhere. Modern showers are much better. Still, a wet bathroom and loo seat were a minor issue given how great the place is. 😉

A beautiful B&B in a fantastic spot. The owners were very friendly and happily arranged a slightly early breakfast for us. There was a wide choice of cold breakfasts as well as a traditional English breakfast made with local produce. I’d recommend it wholeheartedly.

The weather was rotten, but we still had good walks during a lovely long weekend. The B&B is in Malham yet somehow feels miles away. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a nice view over the fields, and the hosts were very friendly. Breakfast was good. It was nice that our family could stay in their small campervan as well, though the facilities for campers leave much to be desired and availability is limited.
