The site was really well kept, and the host was lovely. We had a wonderful weekend camping here. Our electric pitch was level, with a conveniently placed hookup that worked well, so putting up and positioning the tent was easy. The toilets and shower were very clean, and the outdoor washing-up area was clean too and had hot water. Bins were easy to find. There’s an electric gate to secure the site, and the simple code could be entered from the car. It’s also well placed for local attractions and walks. Our dog seemed very comfortable and happy. The one downside, which wasn’t the owner's fault, was a group of six with a reactive dog that barked late into the night. Thankfully, they left after the first night. Would highly recommend a stay.
