This is one of my favourite pubs in town. I love dropping in after work for a pint and something to eat, especially in summer. The atmosphere is always relaxed, the decor is lovely, and there are some fantastic drinks on the menu. Everyone I’ve met here has been really lovely and sound. I held my birthday party here too, and the venue staff were so helpful and accommodating. Keep it up, cheers!
There’s a nice mix of lively and relaxed here. The music isn’t too loud, and sometimes they show football, which is a great addition. Plenty of lovely beer too. I’d highly recommend it.
A nice spot to stop for a beer, with reasonable prices and happy hour on most days. The food looks good too.
Cool atmosphere, music and a good beer selection, but the shawarma deserves a mention. The fresh bread, tasty chicken and crunchy veg go together beautifully. I’ll be back.
I ordered two pints of Guinness after seeing it on draught in what looked like a nice place. They didn’t have proper Guinness glasses, which I know is a bit snobbish of me, and the pour was poor, without the double pour. The bubbles looked like ice cream on top, and it tasted as bad as it looked. I know it isn’t a Guinness pub, but if you sell it, you should know how to pour one. I only managed a couple of sips and left the rest. Worst Guinness in Manchester for sure.
