New Central Guest House

I’ve never lived in a more awful and disgusting place. It’s owned by Tameside Council, which does an extremely poor job of managing and maintaining the building. Residents get blamed for every issue, and repairs are cowboy work. The place is infested with cockroaches, rats, ants, spiders, mosquitoes, fruit flies and who knows what else. Whenever I report it to staff, they act shocked as if they didn’t know. The rooms are mouldy and damp, and they’re unwilling to fix things or clean properly. Children live here, and people complain about mess when they leave. Residents are being put at risk, with nothing done to protect us from illness or intruders. People living here have been hospitalised after catching infections from this place. We’re at risk of being kicked out if we don’t follow the rules, yet they do nothing to bring this place up to hygiene standards.
