The river location made the family trip for us. We spent plenty of time kayaking, paddle boarding and wild swimming, and walked into March and back several times during the week. There's also a fairy garden, a new favourite that we visited most days, along with several other additions since our last visit. It's our second visit, part of an annual trip with the wider family, and the team once again made it a great stay. Everyone was friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout. We split our time between a B&B room and their lodge, and both were lovely. The spacious family room had a table and chairs, was spotless, comfortable and had everything we needed. The lodge was so comfortable and stocked with utensils, cooking facilities and everything I could think of. I could happily live there! I found the beds comfortable in both places; my husband preferred the lodge, and our son loved both, especially the lodge sofa bed where he could watch TV from bed, which was a novelty for him. Highly recommend!

Town is an easy walk away, with a pleasant stroll along the river bank to March, and the location is great. The Four winds b&b is really well run, with plenty of information about local services, ample parking and a nice outdoor seating area at the back. The owners were polite and helpful. I had a relaxing four-night stay, and my room was spotless with a great view over the fields. They bring breakfast to the room, and it was delicious. I highly recommend the place and will book again.

The location suited me well because it was close to where I was working. My room had everything I needed and more, and the host was really helpful. I was given a key, so I could come and go as I liked. Definitely recommend the breakfast, which arrived hot and was well cooked.

We've had another amazing stay as a family of five. This was our third visit, so we clearly love the place. The site is always clean and well kept, and the owners and staff are great, welcoming and friendly. They were very accommodating when we asked to add an extra night during our stay. We enjoyed paddle boarding, using the pedalo and fishing, and it's great to have river access. We even canoed into March for lunch. Thanks for a lovely family holiday, see you next year!
