The little lake in the back garden and the pleasant surroundings made this a lovely place to stay. There’s lots of parking, and the rooms are warm, clean, well equipped and each decorated differently. Louise and Trevor are so helpful, nothing feels like too much trouble. One thing to watch: Google Maps may send you off the A141 Isle of Ely way, but that route is really a footpath. Come in from the north west via B1093 Wimblington Road to Brickmaker’s Arms Lane. I’ll definitely stay again.

A great base for visiting places from Cambridge up to Kings Lynn and the Wash, including beautiful Ely Cathedral. The location itself is lovely, and the B&B feels friendly and homely. Our room was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was superb and set us up for the day.

I stayed for 8 nights and the room was spotless and so comfortable, a real home from home. The hosts were welcoming, and breakfast was amazing. It’s a peaceful location, with shops and pubs only a short drive away. Thanks, Trevor and Louise, for looking after me so well. I’m from Nottingham and can’t wait to visit again.

We had to leave our family home after a fallen tree caused damage, and they fitted us in at very short notice. The room was flawless, the staff were kind, approachable and helpful, and breakfast was yummy. Highly recommend. I hope to come back in better circumstances.

The garden is lovely, there’s a friendly dog, and parking is available. I really liked the vegetarian breakfast option too, good food without any fuss. The rooms each have their own theme and plenty of character, with lots of attention to detail. The hosts were warm, friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend.
