WiFi was very unreliable, and by our second night there was no signal at all. The hedges between the touring caravan pitches were too short to give any real cover from the usual winds. The toilets and showers were adequate, though I felt uncomfortable when a workman came into the ladies’ room just as I stepped out of the shower to dry my hair. He started working on a shower head, so I left the building in my dressing gown. We might come back since this is the closest site to Aberdeen and convenient for us, but I’ll be wary of using the showers again.

We spent a lovely, relaxing week in a lodge overlooking the fields, with a hot tub and fabulous weather the whole time. The park is small, quiet and well cared for, and the staff were quick to help whenever anything came up. There’s plenty to do nearby, with shops only a few minutes’ drive away and lots of castles to visit. I loved it here and will definitely be back.

Bunnies hopping around were a lovely bonus, and the amenities were super clean. It’s peaceful and family friendly, and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. We’ll definitely come back.

We came back for a second visit, this time staying in a beautiful three-bed caravan that was incredibly clean. Our first stay was in the camper, where the facilities were great and check-in was easy. It’s a quiet place with a duck pond, a playpark and loads of rabbits. Entry is secure and reads your number plate. Pets are welcome too.

It’s handy for where I’m working, but I wish we’d been told before booking that I couldn’t park my van beside the caravan. Instead, I had to walk from the main entrance all the way to the caravans at the back. There are plenty of signs once you arrive saying no commercial parking, but there wasn’t a single mention of it on the booking website.
