The kids were so happy staying in the house all weekend, they didn’t want to go out at all. The games room kept everyone entertained, and the girls especially loved the hot tub. We came with my family and my brother’s family and had a brilliant weekend together. There are great facilities here, and we’re planning to book again for next year’s family get-together.

We had a lovely weekend here, and the kids were big fans of the games room. It’s got everything you need for a family break. No complaints from us, and we’d happily book again.

There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out, with lots of different spots to enjoy. The sheep and lambs kept us company, and the views were a lovely extra. We had ages ranging from 4 to 77 in our family, and there was something for all of us. The owners have clearly thought of everything. Incredible farmhouse, and amenities are only about seven minutes away.

We were lucky with the weather, so the family got to use the BBQ. The games room was modern and spacious, and it was busy the whole time. Such a brilliant property, there’s something for everyone. We had a great weekend and are already looking forward to coming back.

We’ve stayed here a few times now with both sides of the family, and I’d buy the farmhouse myself if I won the lottery. It’s that good. The house is very clean, there’s Wi-Fi, and plenty of parking. It’s self-catering, so come prepared, as the nearest big supermarket is a fair drive away. Towels for the hot tub and hand towels are in the porch. The kitchen is spacious and comfortable, with a big TV and a small fridge for everyday bits. There’s also a side room we call the snack room, with a full-size fridge, lots of glasses, recycling buckets, and plenty of room for crisps and other snacks. It could just as easily be the cocktail room. A third fridge in the porch gives you space for drinks that need chilling. There’s a big living room, plus two smaller sitting and TV areas further along the house. We brought a PlayStation and set it up in one of them for a rainy day. The games room has table football, pool, table tennis, a couple of couches, and a decent hi-fi. There’s a cable for plugging in your phone, which sounds better than Bluetooth. Younger kids can use the little box of toys, including cars, a chalkboard, and other odds and ends. The private hot tub is outside and easiest to reach through the living room. I’d say four people is the limit unless you’re all very friendly. The sheep in the barn next door will answer if you baa at them. Let me know if you reckon one sounds like a person pretending to be a sheep.
