The people were wonderful and really caring. I felt so well looked after, especially when the host made me a hot water bottle for my ongoing back pain, which had nothing to do with the stay. The room was extremely comfortable, and I had the best eggs benedict I’ve had in years. Heartily recommend.

Sheila and Ian were such kind, caring hosts, and I can’t wait to come back to Fauhope. The house and grounds are beautiful, idyllic, and decorated with a real eye for beauty. My room was lovely, with a large en suite bath and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent, cooked to order with local and homemade items, and served at a stunning table. I highly recommend staying here.

The owners are lovely and friendly, and make you feel at home. Breakfast was fabulous, with fresh fruit from the garden and great quality cooked food. This is a superb place, a large country house set among extensive, well kept grounds with views towards the hills. The decor is exquisite. The bedrooms are very large, with comfortable beds, and the en suite bathrooms are spacious and have everything you could need. Highly recommend this gem.

Breakfast was perfection, with everything cooked just right and homemade condiments. I especially recommend the homemade marmalade. The view while eating was amazing too. Our host took great pride in what they do, couldn’t do enough for us, and knew the area well, with plenty of suggestions for places to go and try. It felt like a country house from the setting right through to the rooms, which were finished to a very high standard and had everything we could need. Our bed was huge and comfortable, and the view was second to none. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely return for more than one night next time.

The owners were wonderfully caring and focused on their guests, and could recommend lovely restaurants and places to eat right nearby. The accommodation is beautiful, in a truly amazing setting in a lovely part of the world. Edinburgh is only a short hop away. You can’t put a price on quality. This is the most amazing, perfect B&B I could wish for. Simply first class!
