Everything was ready for us at the cottage, even though we booked our couple of days away spontaneously and gave no notice. It was beautiful, clean, and had everything we could have needed. The beds were really comfortable, and the wood burner was amazing. We could bring our furry friend too, and the porch was handy for drying him after long walks. My partner knows Exmoor well, but we found things easy to locate, and Withypool is close by if you need anything. We wouldn't hesitate to book again when we need a break from city life.

The views are beautiful, and it was quiet with no disturbance from the farm. The people were friendly and helpful. It's a simple, clean and tidy cottage on a secluded working farm. We didn't mind the animals wandering into the cottage garden as a bit of extra entertainment, though the farm doesn't own the cottage. There was no welcome gift, and the milk was UHT pods rather than fresh milk. The track to the cottage needs attention. The unavoidable potholes weren't kind to the suspension when we drove in with a full car.

A beautiful little holiday let in an absolutely stunning spot. Just right for getting away from everything and relaxing.
