Bridge House Bed & Breakfast

We spent time relaxing in the lovely garden in the sunshine, and our room overlooking it was wonderful, spotless, and had a double bed. We booked two nights because of a local funeral. Lynn and Paul gave us a warm welcome and made sure we had what we needed, including going the extra mile with a special request to keep us comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, and we weren’t surprised to hear Lynn had won a National Award for it. They were both so charming and welcoming. We’d highly recommend this place.

Breakfast was delicious and really well cooked, and the whole place was spotlessly clean. Our room was very spacious, with a superking bed that was extremely comfortable. Lynn and Paul are such friendly, welcoming hosts that we felt at home straight away. It’s easy to see why Bridge House has won awards, they deserve the recognition. Looking forward to visiting again.

The B&B is about a mile from the town centre, an easy walk on a level road with good lighting and footpaths. Our room was at the back, overlooking the garden, so I didn’t hear traffic at all. The superking bed was lovely, and I’ve never slept on softer pillows. Lynn looked after us so attentively throughout our fabulous four-night break. Our large, airy room was freshly decorated and spotless, as was the modern ensuite shower room. There was always plenty of tea and coffee, which I appreciated since some places only leave enough for one or two drinks a day. The dining room was lovely, and breakfast was delicious, freshly cooked with local produce and home-baked bread. Lighter options were available, but we went for full English every time. By the end, saying goodbye to Lynn felt like saying goodbye to a friend I’d known for years. Thank you, Lynn and Paul, for making us feel so welcome in your lovely home.

The building and garden are breathtaking, and the hosts made the stay even better. They couldn’t have been more accommodating, even staying up late when we got held up at an event. It was a heavenly stay at a truly beautiful B & B. We can’t recommend it enough!
