It’s central and well situated, with a reasonably priced bar, but the street was quiet while I was there, no loud traffic or buses passing. My room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable, and everything worked. I could also log into my own account on the TV. The place is inexpensive without feeling cheap or down-market. Staff were polite and helpful, a great welcome for guests. I’d happily stay again.

Great place, clean, and the staff were super kind. We were two girls travelling to Newcastle for the night, and they upgraded us to a female-only four-bed dorm at no extra cost, which was really lovely :) Only downside was that our third-floor room was boiling, while the rest of the floor and the other rooms were cool. Apart from that, no issues. Will definitely stay again :)

The room was really warm, the bed linen was very clean, and the hotel itself was spotless. It seems to have been renovated recently. The TV had programmes and internet access, and I appreciated the amenities. Check-in took just two minutes, and the staff were very friendly. I’d be glad to come back. The soundproofing was a little disappointing. Doors in the hallway and the floor made a lot of noise, and something should be done about it.

The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful, and our room was just right. The bed was huge and very comfortable. It’s a great value hotel in a handy spot, only a few minutes’ walk from the city centre but in a quiet area with no noise at night. This will definitely be my go-to place when I visit Newcastle again.

No complaints at all. The room was clean and good, the bed comfortable, the bar was good, and the staff were great. Prices were sensible too.
