Blue Room Hostel

The beds were really comfortable and the whole place was super clean. Lee and Sungyim made the stay feel special with how generous, kind and caring they are. They were flexible and lovely when I needed to extend my stay a few times, and they were a big part of why my time in Newquay was so wonderful. It felt like staying with friends :) One of the nicest hostels I've been to, and I'd definitely recommend it and stay again when I'm back in Newquay.

We first came with our son Kevin, who loved the place, and returned five years later with our one-year-old daughter. This time my sister-in-law and her seven-month-old son came along too, and we all had such a lovely family stay. The owner was just as kind and welcoming as before, so it really felt like coming home. It's lovely to find somewhere that has stayed so warm, friendly and well kept over the years. We're very glad we came back and hope to return sooner than another five years!

I was lucky to find a last-minute space while I was in town for the boardmasters festival. They hadn't pushed their prices up to the extortionate levels other places in the area were charging, which felt like a reflection of their kindness and values. The owners were really lovely and easygoing. Thanks again for the hospitality. I'll definitely recommend the place to anyone visiting Newquay!

I've been coming back regularly since my first visit over a year ago, and every stay has been great. Lee and Sunyim are so friendly and welcoming that the hostel feels like home. It's a perfect place to unwind, meet people and enjoy the atmosphere. I'd highly recommend it to backpackers passing through.
