We went in early for dinner and found out the music was due to start at 8pm. The king prawn linguine was wonderful. We were a little worried about being so close to the duo, who should have been a trio, and wishing Gordie??? a speedy recovery after he was taken ill. But they were brilliant. Thanks so much for an amazing evening of food, music, and entertainment. Simon Hannah & Sophie. We’ll be back.

The portions were generous and everything tasted great. We stopped in for food and a drink, and the new menu really impressed me. The staff were lovely and welcoming, and the drinks were great too. Definitely worth the money. We’ll be back, thanks! 🥰

We tried two Sunday roasts, pork and the turkey roast of the day. Both were beautifully cooked, with good quality ingredients and plenty of gravy, which you don't always get elsewhere. Really enjoyed them and we'll definitely come back.

The pizzas are brilliant, and the rest of the food has been fantastic too. I've been in a few times since the new owners took over. It feels like a proper menu here, unlike the usual chain stuff served at other local pubs.

We ordered the same thing as last time, a steak and a pizza. The steak was lovely, but the pizza was a letdown. On our previous visit it was homemade, whereas this time it seemed to be a frozen one brought in from Lidl. This was our second visit in recent months, and it was really disappointing. Come on, guys.
