Dana Villa Guest House

Edna was so helpful. Nothing seemed like a bother, and when our car broke down on the way home, she let us use the guest house and its facilities while we sorted it out. She gave us taxi numbers and even helped arrange the car collection. She was amazing, and we’d definitely stay again. Everything was clean and well equipped, with all we needed. The location is central and there’s a car park across the road, so parking was no trouble. We had a fabulous stay. Thanks, Edna.

We had a brilliant stay here recently. The room was beautifully decorated with a seaside feel, and the bed was comfortable. The shower and bathroom were good too. The staff were really friendly, and although breakfast isn't served on site, there were plenty of provisions: juices, porridge pots, cereal bars, and fruit. The guesthouse is just outside Oban town centre, on the north end of town, with easy access to the coastal walk to Ganavan Sands.

We only stayed one night, though I wish we’d had longer. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, with lots of thoughtful extras, even a bag of snacks. Edna, the owner, was pleasant and easy to communicate with.

After a long drive to Oban following work, it was a very welcome, comfortable place to arrive at. Everything was spotlessly clean, neatly presented, and the beds were great. Getting in with the key let us go straight through the house, up the stairs, and into our room. We were very happy with our choice and with Oban.
