We'd just come back from two nights here. The garden is lovely and the sea views are amazing, with the guest house about a ten-minute walk from both the train station and ferry port. Our room was spacious and clean, and we got a warm welcome. Breakfast was tasty with a good choice, though a few more Scottish touches to the full Scottish breakfast would be nice, like haggis and sausages from a local butcher. Great value for a mini-break.

The location is gorgeous, and we had a perfect room. The hosts were amazing and very helpful, pointing us towards good places to eat and explore, and giving me tips for travelling further afield beyond Oban. Breakfast was one of the best I've had during my time in Scotland. A perfect stay all around.

Simon and Anna made booking so easy for our first trip abroad during the pandemic. The Old Manse is in a great spot, and free parking is a real bonus. After the long drive from Edinburgh, the welcome tea and coffee were a lovely touch. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of choices each day. We'd happily recommend it and hope to return sometime.

We stayed three nights in room 2, which was a good size, had an en suite, and looked out over Oban Harbour. Free parking on site was a big plus, especially after having to hunt for pay and display parking at other Oban hotels. The town centre is only a five-minute walk, with lots of places for food and drinks. There's fresh seafood everywhere, yum yum! Simon welcomed us warmly. Tea, coffee and biscuits in the room were topped up daily, and the little sherry decanter was a nice touch. Anna cooked breakfast to order, with plenty of choice, and it was absolutely delicious. They're both friendly hosts and always had time for a chat. We'd book again without hesitation whenever we're in Oban, and totally recommend it.

Free parking is a big help in this town, and the location is spot on. It's a short, charming walk down the hill to the town centre. Simon and his wife were delightful hosts, with great stories and lots of laughs. Everything was lovely, from the hilltop view and breakfast to the old rooms and the old boom box in our room with Scottish classical music CDs. A wonderful bed and breakfast at a fantastic price.
