Dunarle Guesthouse

The rooms are basic, but clean, comfortable, and easy to get around. The TV is older and only has basic channels, so it’s okay for a little downtime. The WiFi connected quickly and worked well throughout our stay. Parking at the property costs money, though it’s free from 5pm to 9am. Dunarle Guest House is in a quiet spot on Oban high street, close to town and just a moment’s walk from the seaside. I didn’t find the garden mentioned in the bio, but there is outdoor furniture overlooking the road, and it’s still a pleasant place to sit. It’s a simple, comfortable stay for a very reasonable price. I’d happily come back.

Very clean and comfortable for our one-night stay. The bed and towels felt really fresh, and it was great value for money. I’d definitely come back, maybe for a few nights next time.

The night had a great feel to it, with live music and a lively atmosphere at Markie Dans right next door. The other bars around Oban were busy too, and some had music on. We had a memorable stay and are already keen to come back. Andy was a great host. He handed over the keys, then left us to get on with things, and cooked a mean fry-up in the morning, with fresh fruit, toast, cereal, croissants, tea and coffee. Our comfortable room was nipping clean, and there was room for all four motorcycles in the enclosed compound.

We all slept well in the clean, comfortable room. Check-in was simple, with clear instructions from the owners. My family had a great stay, and we'd come back.
