La casetta d'Àneu

La Casetta d'Aneu Oxford Castle was a lovely spot for our happy weekend. The apartment was clean, well equipped and ideally placed near the train station. It had everything we needed for a relaxing short break. Our host Luigi was superb, welcoming and lovely. Thanks!

It’s a quiet area, and the small block of flats is quiet too. The apartment is central, with a five-minute walk into town and riverside walks even closer. There’s secure parking at the back, though you probably won’t need a car while you’re here. The apartment was excellent, and the host was friendly, professional and very helpful.

The apartment was spotless and had all the essentials, plus more. It’s in a quiet spot, but the main town is less than a five-minute walk across a footbridge. Luigi was charming and waited for us even though we arrived late. We’d definitely recommend staying here and hope to return soon. Thank you.

I stayed at La casetta d'Àneu" in Oxford with two close friends I hadn’t seen for a long time, and we had a lovely time. The one-bedroom apartment was cosy and had the important amenities. I’d originally planned to come in July with my partner, but personal circumstances meant we couldn’t make it. Luigi helpfully moved our booking without a fee beyond the difference in the nightly rate. He handled check-in and check-out himself and was very helpful. He also wore a mask without being asked. The thorough cleaning before arrival and after departure was especially reassuring, as I was nervous about my first stay away during the pandemic. The location was nice, near the centre but far enough away from the city noise. We could also leave the car there after check-out, which was a big help since we wanted to spend the next day in Oxford before leaving. I’d love to visit again.
