Channel View Hotel

The hotel was spotless, one of the cleanest I've stayed in. We had two rooms, both beautifully decorated with lovely sea views, and the rest of the hotel was just as lovely. The owners were friendly and helpful, and nothing felt like too much trouble. Breakfast and dinner were good, with superb service. We'd gladly recommend it, you won't be disappointed.

We booked Christmas dinner at CHANNEL VIEW and have already reserved for next year. Peter and Ruth welcomed us warmly, and the location is superb. There was a great choice on the menu, and Peter's service was fantastic. Ruth's dinner was amazing, all fresh and homemade, with so many trimmings and extras that we couldn't finish it all. Drinks on arrival, then a starter, dessert, cheese and biscuits, and coffee to finish. Five stars all round. It's now our place for evenings and drinks too, with a relaxing, perfect atmosphere. I usually wake up with back or neck ache when we're away, but the memory foam bed and goose down pillows gave me the best night's sleep. We had a comfortable room and ate at the hotel both evenings, the food was good quality and reasonably priced. The room and the rest of the hotel were immaculate. Peter and Ruth were so friendly and made everything easy. We had a lovely two-night stay and will definitely return. Thanks for making my birthday trip away a good one.

The husband-and-wife team were fantastic, so friendly and welcoming. We had a lovely couple of days in a beautiful, cosy bedroom with a great view and all we needed, plus some thoughtful little extras. We'll be back every year for a lovely break.
