Premier Inn Paignton - Goodrington Sands

Booked a little holiday here and asked on the first night what time last orders were. I was told it was already last orders and we weren’t getting served. It was the same the next night. We were told last orders were at 8.45 and they wanted us out by 9. The outside areas need a clean. Thanks for your response, but that's just lies. It was all closed down at 9pm every night, and we had to walk around the pub to get to our room.

We stayed for five nights, as we do every year, but that was the last time. We usually have a few drinks sitting outside, but when I went to order, the woman behind the bar rudely said she wasn’t serving me because she wanted everyone out by 9pm. It ruined our holiday. The place was closed at that time every night.

The staff in reception and the restaurant were warm, welcoming, and helpful. We had a very clean room and couldn’t find any faults. We didn’t pay extra for a sea view, but still had a clear view of the sea, and it was very good value for money. The only small issue was that the signal wasn’t great.

I’d have no hesitation recommending a stay here. Yet again, I had a very good experience at the premier inn. Emma at reception really stood out: she was extremely helpful, polite, and professional.
