The cottage was spotless and comfortable, with underfloor heating and instructions for everything we needed. It felt like an incredible family break for four, with amenities that really impressed us. The pool was warm, well kept and only a few metres from our front door. My daughter loved it and didn’t want to get out. There’s plenty of parking, and leaflets in reception about local things to do. Shops and pubs are a short drive away. We had amazing views and easy access to the Eden Project, Bodmin Jail, the Camel Trail, St Austell and Par beach. The playground was closed during our stay, which disappointed my daughter since she’d been looking forward to it. It would also help to have a tiny bottle of washing up liquid, as the glasses need to be washed by hand. Those are minor gripes, though. I’d recommend it for a fun family break with nature right on your doorstep. The hosts were absolutely brilliant.

We had the large indoor pool to ourselves, which was a real treat. The cottage was peaceful, spotless and spacious, with lovely views over rolling hills down to the sea. The wood burner was a nice bonus, though we didn’t really need it because the place was already so warm and cosy. The staff were lovely to deal with when booking, and there’s a great pub nearby on the beach. For a cottage in a great location at a very reasonable price, this is a wonderful find. Thanks for a lovely stay, highly recommend.

We came with four kids and two dogs, and loved how homely the cottage felt. It’s beautiful inside, as the photos show, though they were taken while we were leaving and the beds had already been stripped. The pool was a big hit with the children and very clean. One thing needs attention, though: my daughter scraped herself on the missing tiles, and I caught my leg on them too. Would recommend!

The cottages are in a lovely location, and the accommodation was excellent. There’s good off-road parking with enough room for larger vehicles. The pool was a good size and well maintained, and the grounds were nicely kept too. I’d recommend staying here and wouldn’t hesitate to come back.
