We had a hen do here and it was just right. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and we used the event room for yoga and painting. The owners were lovely and easy to communicate with, and recommended a local chef who cooked for us one evening. Highly recommend!

The hosts were amazing and took care of every detail. The house is stunning, immaculate, beautifully decorated and incredibly well equipped, yet it feels like a home. All 16 of us were there for a special birthday, and we loved it. It’s in a beautiful location and you couldn’t want or need anything else.

Lisa and Alex made Grassfield Hall feel like home for our week, with gracious, thoughtful touches and great attention to detail that added to everyone's comfort. Our family of 15, from age 4 to over 60, made lifelong memories there. We enjoyed the walks into town, access to Nidderdale Way, and catering from Dusty Miller. Lisa was available whenever we needed anything, and everyone in the family enjoyed the experience. The Hall itself is breathtaking and the hospitality was wonderful.

The owners went out of their way to make our stay a pleasure, and their lovely little house mascots helped too! The house is beautiful and idyllic, set in gorgeous countryside, but Pately Bridge village and the Bridge Inn pub are still within walking distance. I’d recommend it to anyone.

Our extended family of 12 had a wonderful long weekend at Grassfield Hall, and everyone wants to return. It’s a luxurious self catering stay in a fabulous stately home, with beautifully decorated bedrooms and social spaces. The large bedrooms all have en-suites and thoughtful extras that felt like a top quality hotel. The kitchen had quality fittings and appliances and everything we needed for a relaxing, comfortable visit. The views from the house are picture postcard, and Pateley Bridge village is a short walk away, with independent shops, a baker, butcher and cafes. We also drove to Harrogate in 30 minutes and enjoyed a couple of local walks with lovely views straight from the house. We had a wonderful meal at the Sportsman's Arms too, with delicious food and wine and great service. Everyone loved our stay. I can’t recommend it highly enough for a group trip, and it would also be a lovely venue for special occasions.
