The Shipwright Inn

We had a lovely, cosy stay, with comfortable rooms and great service from the staff. The home-cooked food was lovely, and there was a good selection of beer and wine. The views were beautiful too, especially from room 3 if it's available. We'll be back on our next trip to Pembrokeshire.

The Shipwright still has its traditional nautical, fisherman's feel, even in its newest version. It and Front Street just belong together. I had my first pint here more than 40 years ago, so it was a real pleasure to return for a cracking New Year's Eve dinner. Everything was homemade, nicely presented and delicious. I'd recommend a visit. Well done, and good luck for the future!

We picked up a Sunday takeaway lunch a couple of weeks ago and the dinners were freezing cold, gravy included. We had to microwave everything, and after reheating, the food was rank. We were still charged the full restaurant price. It makes you wonder whether the food is prepared the day before. I'd suggest going to the Ferry Inn instead. Their takeaway dinners are top notch and cooked fresh for collection. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
