The Old Post House B&B

Fiona has put together some great hiking routes away from the usual paths, and there’s a yoga and stretching space for after a long day on the trail. Those thoughtful extras are part of why this is my favourite place to stay in wild wild West Cornwall. I’ve been twice, last August and this April, and every room has Fiona’s lovely styling and little touches. Breakfast is delicious and a great start to the day. I even wrote down the smoothie recipe to try at home, but mine just doesn’t taste the same. I enjoyed every minute and will definitely return.

Fiona and Dom go out of their way to make sure guests have a great stay. They know the town and surrounding area well and can point you towards places for food, pubs or adventure. This charming B&B in quaint St Just was a lovely surprise behind its bright red doors on a narrow street. First class!

Breakfast was a real highlight: everything was fresh, there were lots of tasty choices, and the smoothie was one of the best I’ve had. The porridge was even better, the best I’ve eaten, creamy and perfectly cooked with just the right toppings. We stayed at the Old Post House B&B for one night in St Just, and the owners made us feel at home straight away. They’re genuinely friendly and clearly care about their guests. Our charming, cosy room was spotless, and the comfortable bed gave us a great night’s sleep. You can see the care they put into every detail. We had such a good stay and can’t wait to come back for longer.

The owner was friendly and personal, and shared lots of knowledge about the area. The rooms were spotless, well equipped and had a very comfortable bed. The little lounge and breakfast room felt homely too. A great place to stay, and I’d gladly return.
