We had a wonderful time at Cropvale Lodge. There’s plenty of room, with a living room, kitchen, decking, a double bedroom and another room with two single beds. The location is beautiful and peaceful, a perfect getaway. It was gorgeous weather, so we made the most of the outdoor space and barbecue, though the log fire means it would be lovely at any time of year. Everything was thought of for an easy self-catered stay, from the charming welcome pack to robes and slippers for the excellent hot tub. Thanks to Sue and Roger for a lovely visit. We’d recommend it to everyone!

The Dairy Barn was exceptionally comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday, plus plenty of thoughtful extras: homemade bread, brownies, chutney, eggs and milk, along with lots of bathroom products. The seating, dining and sleeping areas were all comfortable, and the property is very well maintained. Outside, there’s room to dine, relax on the loungers, and enjoy beautiful views. The hot tub was very well maintained too. It’s a stunning place in a beautiful area, and well located for short drives to other places. Sue and Rodger are warm, friendly and welcoming. We’d highly recommend Cropvale Farm.

We’ve stayed here twice now. The location is so peaceful, and Sue & Roger are lovely owners. It’s all on one level with a walk-in shower, which is ideal for disabled guests. The week we visited was very hot, but the large standing fan helped. Everything was extremely clean and well equipped, and there’s an extensive selection of books to borrow from the big bookcase.

We spent 9th May to 16th May there and loved it. The Dairy Barn was comfortable, with a nice terrace and hot tub. Sue and Roger were such warm, friendly hosts, and the homemade bread, cake and apple juice were lovely. It’s definitely worth coming back.

The Parlour Barn was really well looked after and had all the amenities we needed. We especially enjoyed the homemade bread, chutney and eggs. The countryside views are idyllic, and the hot tub was a lovely way to unwind during our fantastic, relaxing three-night stay. We’ll definitely look to return in the future.
