Premier Inn Peterborough City Centre

The room was very clean, and the staff were exceptional, especially Lina, who knew about gluten-free food allergies. She greeted me with a huge smile at check-in and made me feel welcome. She explained the restaurant and made sure my sister, who has Coeliac, was accommodated when we sat down. The food was wonderful and such good value. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff I met. I'd especially like to thank Lina, Donna, and Isabella. Such lovely ladies, and they made my stay very special.

The people made our stay at the Premier Inn City Centre, Peterborough genuinely memorable. We were there from 24-27 December, then extended day by day until 3 Jan. Reception staff were warm, upbeat, and helpful throughout, especially over Christmas. Lina went out of her way to keep us in the same room, and handled my husband's many requests for toiletries and coffee with humour and professionalism. She made us feel truly welcome. We also had breakfast and dinner for two days at the end of our stay. The meal deals were excellent, and Lina arranged for our needs to be met. She introduced us to Mike, who maintained the same high level of service, particularly with my husband's medical needs and restricted diet. The housekeeping team left an impression too, when one member kindly returned a towel I'd accidentally mixed in with the hotel's. Lina also found and returned an item my mother left behind at checkout, saving us stress, loss, and inconvenience. This hotel felt like a home away from home. Lina and her colleagues showed consistent kindness, flexibility, warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. This is just a snapshot of our positive experiences during that time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this Premier Inn for comfort, care, and outstanding staff.

The room was lovely and clean. Checking in at Premier Inn, though, felt like a pop quiz I hadn't studied for, with awkward silences, little eye contact, and smiles in short supply. Lina's enthusiasm made me wonder if I'd wandered into her villain origin story. I did get my key eventually, but asking basic questions made me feel like I'd inconvenienced her just by existing. If you enjoy feeling judged for asking questions and cool, five-star icy vibes, this is the check-in for you.

The Cathedral is an easy stroll away, and the room looks out over the River Nene. I felt safe staying here in Peterborough. The staff were lovely, breakfast was amazing, and the room was incredibly comfortable.
