Staff were friendly and attentive, and the place had a relaxed, down-to-earth feel. My room seemed to be the closest to the main road, but I barely heard any traffic. Breakfast was standard fare, nothing fancy. It’s more than adequate for business travellers, though the pool and gym seem to be open to the general public. That makes it feel less exclusive, and I hadn’t expected to pay extra to use those facilities.

The pool, sauna and steam room were a nice bonus, and we had a really lovely stay in this beautiful, quiet part of Scotland. The staff were fantastic, especially James, thanks to you and the team. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and anything we needed was sorted right away. There was plenty of choice at meals, and the food was always hot and tasty. One night's entertainment was such a laugh, the performer was very talented and made our evening. Looking forward to coming again.

We came as part of a coach trip. The rooms were clean, but they weren't connected to the hotel, so we had to put our coats on to go to meals. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and the food was quite good.

Just got back from this hotel and it was brilliant. The staff are lovely and seem really happy working there. James, the manager, never stops trying to make everyone's stay comfortable. He's amazing. Our room was spotless and very comfortable, and the food was always hot and most agreeable. I'll definitely be back.

Manager James is so friendly and helpful, and the rest of the staff are lovely. The hotel was clean, though it could do with a bit of an update. It's a little out of the way, so you'll need a car or public transport to get elsewhere.
