Staying in the restored Pullman train carriage was a real experience, and well worth the price, though it's not cheap. Our room was private, spacious, and comfortable, with a great bed and excellent amenities. The thoughtful staff made us feel well looked after. Breakfast in the old station waiting room was excellent, and for a bit more luxury, dinner in the beautiful reconditioned Pullman dining car was lovely. I highly recommend the beef wellington. There are plenty of villages and small towns within 20 minutes for food, coffee, and shopping. Wonderful getaway.

We had afternoon tea in the old station house, set up to evoke the 40/50"s with the background music and everything. The only drawback was hearing the same tune throughout our 90 minutes there. We also ate dinner in the dining car, a recent addition renovated to a very high standard. Our converted pulman carriage was excellent, beautifully presented, with a bath, walk-in shower, and everything we needed for a mini break. The small team of staff were amazing guides and hosts. A great getaway, and definitely a bespoke venue.

We were lucky to book lunch today on the Princess Ena carriage, and can't wait to come back. The food, service, value, and atmosphere were all fantastic. The chicken pesto tagliatelle was so moreish without being overpowering, and the puddings were exquisite. Thanks to the chef for coming over to check in with us!

The location and quaint rooms were lovely, and I'd thoroughly recommend staying here. My only suggestion for management is to consider aircon for summer, as it can get hot during the day.

We spent one night in Pullman Carriage Flora 1, and the whole setting was just perfect. It felt warm, comforting, and really romantic. The photos don't capture how lovely the carriage decor is, with that back-in-time feeling alongside modern comforts. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We'd definitely recommend it.
