A pleasant bar with nice staff, good service, a lovely ambience, and good wine. The Seafood Linguine was especially good, with plenty of seafood and a tasty sauce. The fish of the day was nice too, though it came with a bit too much broccoli. Fish n chips were average. Prices felt a tad high for pub food.

Since moving to Petworth, we've been here a few times with our children and extended family and enjoyed every visit. The atmosphere is positive, and the food and drinks are good. The quiz night is loads of fun, and we've already booked the next one. 🙌

The cafe in Petworth House was packed and had no seats, so we came here instead. What a good choice! The food was incredible, ten times better, and it's a really nice pub. If you're here on a Sunday, I'd definitely recommend the roast. The staff gave fantastic customer service too, thank you. 🍻👍🙏

I've been local to this pub for nearly 25 years, and in the past it always seemed run down, just surviving, without the right people running it. Yesterday I popped in with my daughter for a drink and was so pleasantly surprised. The place looked warm and inviting, the best it's ever looked! The young lady behind the bar was welcoming and friendly. I've heard nothing but good things about the food, though I haven't tried it yet. I will come back to eat. I've got a great feeling about this beautiful local pub. Well done, guys!

This old-fashioned pub served a superb meal. We had two excellent seafood starters, squid and whitebait, then spare ribs for the main. The portions were huge, and everything was tasty, well cooked, and great quality. Service was very attentive too.
