Amanda was so welcoming and friendly. We arrived as strangers and left as friends. The accommodation is comfortable and feels almost like home, with thoughtful extras such as fresh flowers, cake slices, and milk in the fridge. Full English breakfast was included, and we enjoyed eating outside on the patio with the garden view when the weather allowed. Otherwise, Amanda's beautiful kitchen was a lovely place to eat. The setting is idyllic, with a river at the bottom of the garden. There's a very good pub opposite, with real ales and excellent food. Excellent value for money, and we'll definitely be back. A swan sailed down the river when we arrived, and apparently you can sometimes spot kingfishers and otters, too. Amanda was exceptionally welcoming, and the annex is well maintained. The relaxing garden has a stream running alongside it. Breakfast was perfect, and there's an award-winning pub just across the road. We had a lovely time with Amanda and hope to return to the area so we can visit again.

Amanda is a wonderful owner, the accommodation is first class, and breakfast is excellent. We'd recommend the place to anyone wanting a quiet, relaxing holiday or just a few days away.
