Celebrating my mum’s 90th birthday at Atholl Palace Hotel was just perfect, and the team made it a day our family will always treasure. Kirsty was so attentive, professional and caring. I think she might be the General Manager, though I never actually asked. The staff were wonderful from the moment we arrived, warm and welcoming, and nothing felt like too much trouble. The hotel let us bring in a local singer, Michael Lewis, who’s starting to make a name for himself. He sang three beautiful songs for Mum, which made the occasion extra special. We were grateful for how flexible and supportive the hotel was. Afternoon tea was beautifully presented and delicious, and the setting is stunning. Our room was clean, comfortable, warm and well equipped. You can tell they take real care of the place. Brilliant in every way, and we’ll absolutely be back.

We host our annual “Party at the Palace” dance event here, and it’s such a lovely venue for it. The food was top notch again, with first class restaurant service and excellent staff throughout. Catherine, the Events Manager, and Flavio, the restaurant manager, were especially helpful. See you next year.

We loved our two night stay and will definitely be back. The hotel is stunning, and we could happily have spent the days exploring its beautiful, extensive grounds, though we did go out both days. The singer in Stag's bar on Friday 23rd was brilliant and really got the crowd going. Thanks for singing my request, “if you could read my mind”. We ate in the bar rather than the restaurant, and the food was delicious with huge portions. Staff were so friendly and helpful.

The Hogmanay celebration was a highlight, with a delicious four course dinner, bagpipes and traditional ceilidh dancing. The village street party on New Year’s Day was a lovely way to round things off. We were lucky to have snow during our stay, which made this already spectacular place feel even more magical. Atholl Palace is an elegant, beautiful hotel in the Scottish Highlands, just a short walk from Pitlochry. Our first stay exceeded all expectations. The setting and views are stunning, and the extensive grounds are wonderful for walks. After exploring, we loved relaxing beside the roaring fires, which made everything feel so cosy. The rooms were exceptionally comfortable, the food was amazing throughout, and the staff were welcoming, attentive and went above and beyond. A huge thank you to the whole team for such a memorable visit. I’ll definitely return.

The New Year’s Eve party was full of energy and so memorable. We felt glamorous, and there was always music on. On New Year’s Day, the village street party went ahead in softly falling snow, where someone gave me the best mince pie I’ve ever had. The food at the hotel was fantastic and plentiful, and the staff made us feel like VIPs. They even remembered that I take non-dairy milk in my coffee. We had an idyllic Hogmanay. The views are gorgeous, the rooms cosy and warm, and the location is great, about a ten minute walk from Pitlochry village. I can’t fault the hotel and would love to return. A brilliant holiday.
