We stayed one night so our daughter could go to a university open day. Wendy made us feel very welcome at this lovely little B&B. If you’re driving, ask her about a parking permit, it’s much cheaper than paying by phone. The bed was comfortable, and the room had a kettle, tea and coffee. The TV was the only thing I wasn’t keen on, it was small. We left before breakfast, so I can’t comment on it.

The lady of the house was absolutely lovely, and I had a wonderful stay. I booked through agoda, and everything went smoothly after that. The location is handy for some of Plymouth’s best-known places, including the famous Barbican and lighthouse, both within walking distance. I also really enjoyed the English breakfast.

Breakfast was lovely and came out quickly. My room was comfortable and had everything I needed, and Wendy made me feel very welcome. I’d happily recommend this B&B.

We booked a show at The Plymouth Pavillions, which was an easy walk from The Old Pier House. Our room was bright, very clean, and had a really comfortable bed. Wendy was so helpful, and made us an amazing breakfast. I’ve stayed at lots of B&Bs, and this is among the best for cleanliness, comfort, price and hospitality. Having parking was a bonus. Definitely recommend it. Thanks, Wendy, for such a lovely stay. We’ll see you again. Jenna & Phil

We’ve stayed here with the family a couple of times, and nothing seems to be too much trouble. The breakfast is the best in town. It’s also a short walk to the seafront, and a convenient stop for us before catching the ferry to France and Cornwall. :)
