Hotel Aqua

I was travelling for work and had to extend my stay at the last minute, the night before. My room was already booked, but the staff quickly arranged another one and were very friendly about it. They even offered to move my bags so I could head straight to work in the morning without worrying about my luggage. When I got back from work near the end of dinner service, they offered to make anything I wanted from the menu so I wouldn't miss a meal. The food was always delicious. I'm very grateful for how understanding and humane they were. I highly recommend staying here.

My wife and I had a great time at the Aqua during our two-night stay for the South coastal path around Portland. Martin and the staff were helpful and attentive, and the food was great, from the breakfast buffet to the menu options. Our room, 204, was clean and tidy, with a lovely bay view and a nice sunset. Definitely recommend. We'll be back soon. Thanks to Martin and the staff, 5/5 well deserved.

The staff were brilliant, the service was great, and the food very good. I had a triple room with comfy beds, tea making facilities and a fridge. The rooms are basic but have what you need. Cleaning and fresh towels were a plus, and the views were great.

Castletown is a lovely place to stay if you want to avoid the crowds, and we'll definitely visit again. Our room was bright and airy, and the sunrise over the harbour this morning was beautiful. Dinner in the restaurant last night was fantastic, fresh, hot and plentiful. I slept well, and breakfast was plentiful, hot and had a good choice.
