The bed was very comfortable, the sheets were clean and the room smelled lovely. The bathroom was spotless and the shower had great pressure. The room itself was warm, tidy and clean, and the shared kitchen had cereal, which was a nice extra. I'd definitely stay again.

The kitchen had all the basics, from pans and utensils to plates, spoons and cornflakes, plus cleaning supplies. The room and bathroom were well cleaned and toiletries were provided. Really good accommodation for the price.

We were here for two nights and the big king bed was very comfortable for two. The shower was excellent, with soap, shampoo and large towels provided. It's a no-frills place, but the room was clean apart from a dusty corner where I opened my suitcase. My black fleece landed there and came away covered in dust. A shelf in the bathroom and one in the living area would have helped, though we made do by using the ironing board as a dresser surface. An iron and board were provided. The building has been unusually converted into several apart-hotel units, laid out like a jigsaw. There's a central shared kitchen with most things you'd need, though no freezer. Food in the fridge is on an honor system, and nobody took our things. There are locks on the outer entrance, the building and each room. The owners kept communication updated, and the TV has a large LG screen. The location was handy for shops and restaurants, with bus stops nearby, a coffee shop next door, and a wide choice of places just a minute away. We liked Jaffa for its Middle Eastern food. It was a bit noisy outside when we were heading to bed, but with shops, restaurants and the college campus nearby, that was expected. We enjoyed the room and the price.

I was a little concerned after reading some bad reviews once we'd booked, but the room turned out lovely, clean and quiet. We had a great stay last night and would come back.
