The receptionist was so kind, helpful and professional, and the room felt fresh, new and properly clean. The bathroom was spot on, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. It warmed up quickly too. I did hear people talking in another room, including a child screaming, and the radiator kept clicking while I was trying to sleep. A bit more soundproofing would help. Still the best Premier Inn I’ve stayed in so far.

Having a great pub right next door made dinner easy, and breakfast had lots of fresh choices and tasted lovely. The hotel itself was spotless, from the rooms to the shared areas. Staff were friendly and professional all the way through, and clearly wanted guests to feel welcome. This was my best Premier Inn stay in a long time. I’d happily come back to Premier Inn Preston South (Craven Drive), and recommend it to anyone after a clean, dependable place around Preston.

The breakfast was lovely, though the unlimited hot option didn’t feel unlimited. They cooked what you chose, then took the menu away, so there was no chance to order more. It wasn’t a buffet. The room was clean but basic, and there were no lunch or evening meals, bar, or other services. I was surprised by how little was offered, especially when a small vending machine bag of crisps cost £1.80. We had a child with us. There’s a pub about a five-minute walk away, which is handy if walking that far isn’t a problem.

Donna makes a fab breakfast, and Giovanna always gives such great service. My stepdad and I have been coming every Thursday morning for over a year, and we honestly think it’s the best breakfast we’ve had. I’ll always recommend this place for breakfast.

The cooked breakfast was excellent and got us ready for the drive onward. Staff were welcoming and helpful, and the room was comfortable. We stopped here on our way south as a family, parents with our five-year-old and three-year-old, on 31st Dec 2025. It was just right for a stopover. Kerry & team had Happy New Year colouring sheets, crayons and chocolate Santa lollies for the kids, who were completely delighted. Thanks again, Laura
