The quiet, homely atmosphere made it easy to relax at St Andrews House Hotel, while the location was convenient for getting around Preston. I slept well in the comfortable bed, and everything I needed was provided. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Staff were welcoming, friendly, and always glad to help from the moment I arrived. It was great value for money, with excellent service. I'd happily recommend the hotel to anyone visiting the area and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

The owner is a superb host, always ready to help and making sure nothing is too much trouble. I've stayed at this lovely hotel many times. The rooms are brilliant, clean, well equipped, and have a definite luxury feel. Breakfast is freshly cooked, tasty, and easy. 10/10 👍 I'll definitely be back in the near future.

What was meant to be just a place to sleep turned into a much-needed, genuinely lovely break. We made a last-minute booking on a wet, windy Saturday in January and came over from Manchester for one night away after attending a funeral in Blackpool. The room was spacious and beautiful, with a huge king-size bed and thoughtful décor that didn't feel generic. It was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and clearly well cared for. The bathroom was a highlight. I soaked in the bath for at least an hour or two, and would happily book again for the bath alone, or the breakfast. We met David, the friendly, attentive cleaner. When we said we'd decided to stay another night and were slightly worse for wear the next morning, he rearranged our check-in so we didn't have to leave and check in again. He replenished all the amenities and invited us to have coffee. That's the sort of thoughtful service you rarely get. The value was incredible. Lauraine, the owner, recommended a fantastic local Italian restaurant, and the meal was excellent. We arrived back late and lost track of time over dinner, but the team kindly let us have drinks after hours and included a complimentary bottle of wine, an unexpected and lovely gesture. Everyone on staff was helpful, attentive, and accommodating. Nothing seemed too much trouble, and they clearly wanted us to enjoy our stay. Breakfast the next morning was buffet style, nicely presented, and very enjoyable. Bar prices were reasonable too, making it feel like great value all round. I've worked in travel for years and stayed in hotels around the world. I love a well-run independent hotel, and this one didn't feel like a flat-pack bed and generic pillows. The owner takes pride in the guest experience and personally recommends local places, which makes a real difference. We'll definitely return. A huge thank you to everyone for a lovely stay. If you're coming to Preston, you must stay here. 🌟

The breakfast was delicious, and the service throughout was tremendous. I stayed a couple of nights; the room was cleaned while I was there, and the cleaners knocked first. Had a great experience at the hotel, and I’ll definitely book again next time I’m visiting. Thanks, St Andrews 😀👍.
