Bellevue Apartment 1

The view from the apartment was great, and it was tidy and equipped with everyday things like hair dryers in each room, an iron and ironing board in the kitchen area, a coffee machine, and a vacuum cleaner. But there was no carpet, and some wobbly furniture made noise for the people in the flat below. On the first morning we got a message saying they’d complained about the noise, even though our children weren’t being loud. They were just walking around the living room now and then and playing with toys. We replied to explain we had kids and couldn’t do much about their footsteps. We could hear the people downstairs walking, moving things, and shutting doors too. After that, we told our children to sit still in the mornings, which spoiled the whole experience of staying in an otherwise beautiful apartment. They weren’t happy about being restricted. We stayed three nights, but it didn’t feel worth the money because the apartments aren’t soundproof at all. Please carpet the floors or take other steps to reduce the noise, or don’t advertise these as family friendly. They’re better suited to adults who won’t spend much time in or move around much.
