The pub was nice and I enjoyed a good pint. Our room was absolutely fine for the night, but the bed and breakfast we paid for wasn’t what I’d hoped: breakfast was cold cuts and croissants. We skipped it and had a nice full English across the road at Baghdad Johnnies.

The Bay Horse has come on a lot since our last visit. The staff were really friendly, and Nicky was especially helpful and welcoming. Nicky knows how to pull a pint, too. The Old Peculiar and Landlord were tasty and well kept. We hadn’t booked a meal, but Nicky let us stay at our table and we had the Partridge with Dauphinoise potatoes. It was really tasty and reasonably priced. Well done to everyone at the Bay Horse Masham. Looking forward to coming back. All the best from Shirley & Chris. x

A great spot to get away from the everyday and come back feeling refreshed. Scott and the team made us feel very welcome, the room had everything we needed, and the food was delicious and nicely presented. I’d happily recommend staying here.

Right in the middle of Masham, The Bay Horse made a handy base for wandering around town and visiting nearby breweries. The inn has a cosy village pub feel, and the welcome was friendly. Our room was roomy and comfortable, with a good bed and lots of large pillows. The bathroom was modern and clean, though the shower felt quite small. We had a relaxing stay and would gladly come back when we're in the area.
