After a long walk, sitting by the roaring fire was wonderfully relaxing. The cottage had everything we needed, was beautifully decorated, and our lovely host had even left some delicious welcome treats. My dog was very happy in the purpose-built dog paddock, too. It’s a great base for exploring Ripon and the surrounding countryside. Thanks for such a lovely stay, we can’t wait to come back.

We loved it so much that we’ve already booked another stay for Christmas. Swallow Cottage is gorgeous, much bigger than we expected, with thoughtful furnishings and extras, including the record player. The fire was lovely, and it was so quiet and peaceful around us. Gail was incredibly welcoming and kind, and the delicious gifts she left were much appreciated. We couldn’t find a fault with our stay. Thanks so much, Gail, for being such a superb host. We can’t wait to return! 😍😀

The hosts were lovely, and we’d go back again and again. The farm setting was peaceful, and the decor blended traditional and modern beautifully.
