Fernhill Hotel

A good place to stay when you’re often on the road for meetings. It’s roughly halfway between Leeds and Manchester, which makes the location handy. I’d been choosing Premier Inn for consistency, but this place is ideal if you want your own space to work and then relax. The rooms are very good.

The room was cosy and warm, a lovely welcome after arriving. I had a great night’s stay and felt it was worth the money. I’d definitely stay again when I’m in the area for business. I didn’t have breakfast, but the setup looked good.

We’d certainly come back. Before booking, we got very helpful information about gluten-free breakfast options. The room was clean, warm and comfortable, with a powerful shower. At breakfast there were three gluten-free cereals, an unopened packet of muffins, and choices of yoghurt, fruit and cheese. Thanks for a great stay.

The location is very remote, and because I was working, it was dark when I left and dark when I got back, so I never got to appreciate the view. Still, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. The room was lovely, with a comfortable bed, big TV, plenty of storage and space, and a large shower with excellent water pressure. A mini fridge in the room would have been a brilliant addition.
