For a brief work stay nearby, this place does the job. The rooms were spacious and very clean, and the staff were helpful. It’s handy for Sandbrook business park and the main roads, though there isn’t much in the way of local amenities. Some facilities are basic, including the limited wi-fi access.

I’ve stayed here twice because it’s good value for the area, and the rooms have been clean both times. Parking is limited, though parking out front wasn’t a problem for me since enforcement seemed lax. Rest can be difficult, especially for light sleepers. On my last visit there were loud police sirens and car horns, people I found suspicious hanging around and trying to get into the hotel, and guests running along the hallways at all hours. The steady hum from the nearby KFC’s A/C compressors added to the noise.

We booked for two and the excellent staff gave us a room for four. A double bed? Yes please! Brilliant hotel, good facilities, and a great spot for breakfast at KFC. Thanks, Travelodge!

There was plenty of parking when we arrived at this hotel in a retail park, right next to a KFC. We had an accessible twin room booked, but when we asked for two keys, reception only had one left and could give us just that one. The room was a good size and mostly clean, though the bathroom wall dispensers had no soap. The TV was playing quite loudly when we got in, and there was no remote, so we had to go back downstairs to reception to ask for one. A bedside table would have helped; we ended up using the desk chairs for that. We weren’t expecting luxury, but a bit more attention to the details would have been appreciated.
