The Davron Hotel

Being right by the sea meant I could hear the waves rolling back and forth all night. It was so soothing. My room was at the front, and it was lovely, roomy, clean and toasty, just what I needed after a long drive through storm Chandra and all that wind. The bed was really comfortable, and I slept peacefully through the night, one of the best sleeps I’ve had. The big bathroom was warm and clean, with a cubicle shower that helped wake me up in the morning. Scrambled eggs on toast and tea were just right, too. I was in room 3 and my colleague was in room 1, a quick walk across the hall if we needed to talk or pass something over. The iron and board, hairdryer and luggage rack were very handy and much appreciated. I was here one night for work in Fraserburgh, booked by my employer. I’d been a bit unsure at first about the hotel being out of the way and having a beer garden, but I couldn’t have been happier with their choice.

The dining room was much more spacious and modern than I expected from the traditional stone front. We spent a lovely weekend in this great wee toon and ate at the hotel both nights, with a large group on Saturday and the carvery on Sunday. Both meals were excellent, with a few quirky touches, and the young ladies serving were friendly and efficient. Definitely recommend.

Rosehearty is a beautiful little village, and this place is right in it. This was my second business stay, and the food was amazing. The staff were very friendly. Highly recommended, I’ll be back again!

We didn’t book the stay ourselves, we’d been invited up for a few days for a tournament. For a quiet village BnB, we weren’t expecting much, since they’re usually not great, but we were pleasantly surprised. The house is stunning, friendly run, clean and tidy, and right on a beautiful beach. It was very quiet and relaxed, and the food was great all weekend, dinner and breakfast were awesome. Those pancakes 🥞 ❤️ Indy, Sharon and Sky were working in the restaurant, always smiling and really friendly and welcoming. The food, staff and relaxed atmosphere made this a well kept secret. Highly recommended for a visit or stay.
