The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was good, though the walls and skirting boards could use a fresh coat of paint. Reception was lovely on arrival: the young woman helped us sort out parking by entering the car registration, and offered to book a table at the Beefeater next door. When my daughter asked for a ground floor room with me next door, she went the extra mile and made it possible. I stayed an additional night while my daughter was at a nearby hospital, and the manager kindly offered help with parking or the room if her discharge was later the next day. The staff really looked after us. Thank you, I had a lovely stay and would recommend it.

Just one night, but I enjoyed it. Friendly staff, a good-sized room, a comfy bed and it was very quiet.
6/10
The carpets were dirty, the decor tired, and our two-person room had only one towel. The tea bags were cheap, there were no USB charging ports, and the TV wasn't smart, with no Google Chromecast. On the plus side, the disabled parking was excellent, and the location was convenient for Sheffield and Rotherham. Staff were helpful and friendly. There's connecting access to the Beefeater pub and restaurant, plus a Sainsbury's and cash machine next door.

I've been staying here for a few months and find the hotel comfortable and very friendly. The bar staff, Chase and Katie, make being away from home a pleasure.

It could do with a refurbishment, but for one night the hotel was clean and comfortable. The receptionist Stephen was fantastic, very helpful and made me feel welcome.
